Murrine is one of glassmaking's oldest secrets — patterns hidden inside layered glass rods, revealed only when sliced. The Miriam brings this ancient art to the neck.
Alessandra Padoan works authentic Murano glass murrine into intricate geometric and floral forms in soft pastel hues, then sets them against a rich black glass base and touches them with shimmering gold leaf. The technique is unchanged since ancient Rome, the result is entirely her own.
